Schaumburg School of Rock has the most amazing instructors and students! Everyone works together regardless of age or ability, and the shows they put on reflect their teamwork and dedication.
I get to play songs right away which feels like I’m making progress, and makes it more fun than just always practicing scales. It puts the theories to use and you can see how they are used.

My son is currently enrolled in the Rookies program. He loves music, so we were very excited to discover an age-appropriate program that provides an introduction to a variety of instruments and musical concepts and seems to be a fairly unique offering among the music schools in our area. All the staff members are very friendly and excellent at sharing their enthusiasm for music with their students.
I love that my son has a place where he feels he can be himself. Not only has he developed more knowledge of music, he’s developed more of a love for music as well. He looks forward to class every week!

Lessons AND bands
Everything! The teachers are great, and the programs are great for that budding rock star! They allow the kids to explore all of their talents.

My guitar instructor, Phil, is the best! He listens and is very encouraging! Our Music Director, Dave, brings out the best in the band. Brandy, the Manager, is efficient and very caring about the staff and clients. Such a great experience!
My child will not stick with anything. Normally he gets bored and then off to the next adventure we go. He has been going there since he was 7, he is now 12. There have been 0 breaks in those years. Vocals, drums, and bass in addition to any camps that he can get into. He loves the programs but it’s the people who work there that really make it special.

We love School of Rock.. Very clear and entertaining where the very lively Instructor takes kids on a beautiful vocal journey.. always fun. we love concerts they do and My daughter is always excited to go for her classes..

Bringing the kids together to play as a group.
My daughter tells me she is enjoying playing songs she likes to listen to. I can tell she really enjoys the instructor. And staff makes it easy to reschedule when there is a conflict with school activities
We like the learning how to perform as group (band) and also get 1:1 lessons. The performance are important as playing in front of an audience is key to master their skills and real life experience.
It would be great if we could have more mini concerts so they get more opportunities to preform in front of audience. How about being part of community events to get more expose in addition to the 3 concert weekend a year.
Special shout out to Joey Schultz at the Geneva location. He is a n friendly face, someone that truly loves MUSIC as well as customer centric.
I like that the kids have the freedom to express themselves through music. The groups of kids and staff are all very supportive of each other and that is helpful to build strong relationships within their bands and lessons.
Great quality In teachers but most of all, the quality of the musicians pushes my kid to be his best.

Schaumburg School of Rock has helped our son to grow in both his musical abilities and confidence. The kids all support each other and work together to make every show the best performance possible.
