The School of Rock is an amazing program for children and teenagers who have a passion for music!
One of the best things about the School of Rock program is the emphasis on collaboration and teamwork. My child had the opportunity to work with other young musicians and perform in live shows, which can be an incredibly rewarding experience. This kind of collaboration helps build important social skills and confidence that will serve him well in all aspects of his life.
Another great aspect of the School of Rock program is the focus on having fun and enjoying the process of learning and performing music. This makes the program accessible and engaging for students of all skill levels, from beginners to more experienced musicians.
School of Rock has been a major component in all three of my kids lives. It has taught my kids how to work hard with a group and recognize improvement in themselves. It is there social scene where they feel welcome Year after year.
The instructors and staff truly care about the children at School of Rock. The environment makes everyone feel safe and welcome, which then has grown bonds among the kids inside and outside of the schools. The pace of lessons helps every child grow and learn so much about music. I have nothing but good things to say about School of Rock Schaumburg.
My son has taken a fast interest in practicing and playing his guitar. The school feels welcoming and we already feel a part of a community.

It seems to be the only place in town with music lessons for my 3.5 year old daughter -- who loves class.

It is great to have the option for my teen to be in a team atmosphere without it being related to sports, which my Son does not enjoy. I appreciate that we have directors that have been here for many years, which gives stability to the entire program.

SOR Plainfield has great instructors who have brought out the best in our daughter musically, socially and personally. She has grown in confidence and has so many new friends. SOR is a second home for our daughter.
Carissa is my daughter's teacher/coach for voice lesson, and she loves her.
School of Rock Schaumburg is AMAZING! The instructors really get to know the students and their playing style so they can help them learn to improve their technique and perform like the rock stars they are. Every show blows me away! The school really puts a lot of effort into making each show like a professional concert with stage setup, sound board, and lighting. I tell everyone I know about SoR Schaumburg. When I showed a video of a recent concert to a coworker, I think he was expecting a cringy kid's grammar school performance because as he watched he said "Oh, they're really good!" I am so happy to be a part of the Schaumburg School of Rock community.
Singing
The whole team is amazing with the kids. They make learning fun and keep the children engaged. They also build their self esteem for all the hard work that goes into practice and learning to perform. Would recommend to any children interested in learning to play an instrument.
The Schaumburg SoR provides to my child a an excellent program for improving his music education and skills. The staff and instructors are wonderful people who take the time and have patience to inspire and teach.
We love the programs, and my son has grown exponentially since starting at School of Rock. However, we are not a fan of changing the performance shows from Beginner/Immediate/Expert. He is no longer being challenged and often comes home from practices very frustrated because he only plays for 10-15 minutes during a practice that lasts 2+ hours.
