My child absolutely loves this program from the vocal instructor to band practice. She has progressed so much in just 3 shows, not just in her singing ability but her overall confidence as well. I love that as a student, you get to learn how to play in a band with other musicians and learn how to read sheet music. My only critique is that the awesome one-on-one sessions are too short.

They work on individual musical skills right alongside interpersonal band skills, which helps to accelerate the development of the child musician. I'm impressed at how far my son has come in just a few months and love the new self-confidence playing in the band has instilled in him.

My daughter has been going to School of Rock for over a year now, and the Rookies program has ignited a real love of playing music in her (and bonus: it's also expanded her musical tastes). The staff are so engaged and friendly - special shout outs to Ms. Melissa, Mr. Ted, and Mr. Daniel - and really know how to work with kids of all ages. We'll keep being a School of Rock family for a long time!
