My son looks forward to his one one class every week with Miles. He is excited to learn new songs and chords. Every week he improves and I hear him rocking out in his room to songs he's learning to play. The Rock 101- group jam session is such a great tool - as he gets to apply what he's learning every week and pour it into his jam session. It's a new way of learning piano/keyboard (for me) and I like it because it's not a traditional method. I'm happy he's not playing Mary had a Little Lamb and instead is playing Seven Nation Army (his favorite song so far)! I highly recommend School of Rock.
Our family likes the learning in a group setting in addition to the one on one tutoring. Our 7yo son really looks forward to both settings for different reasons.
The atmosphere of School of Rock Pompano Beach is quite welcoming. Every single staff member we’ve encountered goes above their specific role for the betterment of the students and the program.
The manager Anthony wears many hats and excels at all portions. Kyle, the instructor of Rock101 is incredibly patient on the outside with all of the young students and believe me, it’s gets wild with just a few children with instruments. James is our son’s drum coach and the way he handles our boy is incredible.

Learning a lot in the sessions which is great.
Cleanliness of the rooms (practice rooms specifically) need to be better. Rooms smell damp and not clean.
Best program to get your kid in
We have only been part of School of Rock for 2 months now but I can already see a new found confidence in my son. They give the kids enough direction and support that they can go out there and do it on their own! It was pretty cool to watch at the pre-show!

Group setting with great professional instructors who guide us through 3-4 mos of a Classic Rock theme that is so much fun to play within a group!
The best is playing to a live audience at a nightclub that’s packed and jamming out our songs that we have worked on! The applause from the audience fuels the performance!

My 13yr daughter enjoys everything about her experience there. Her instructor Miles has been wonderful in his methods of teaching. The group sessions really bring the kids together as a band.

Music has no age limit. The ambience here is always very positive. Keep up the wonderful work! The various shows in dif genres is also inspiring!

The group and one on one lessons for all different instruments and levels of experience. The patience of the teachers and great communication on events , lessons and class reminders .
They give my child a chance to play music with others. She’s been drumming with lessons for a while, but playing music with others is totally different and a lot more fun.

We love how the instructors take a personal interest in our son and work one-on-one with instruction and any difficulties he has. Our son started SOR since COVID began and was doing individual instructions via ZOOM. He has been doing the performance rock programs for years now and also attends the Summer Camp program even though he's almost 17! Love the entire staff, Deja is amazing and everyone is so easy to talk with! We wish we started him at SOR when he was younger!
