I like their flexibility when it comes to have make up lessons.
My son learned more (drums) in a couple months with School of Rock than he did in almost 2 years at school. He also learned to love to play the drums with SOR (as opposed to having to be perfect every time). He has found a love of performing and sang on stage last weekend, actually working the crowd and making a joke :D. The staff are always so lovely. We highly recommend School of Rock.
The concept is great. Instructors are fabulous. My son loves taking guitar, voice, and performance lessons.

We love the energy at the studio. It’s a safe space to learn and grow with positive roll models who are super cool too. This experience has been so great for our son. He loves going to his private lessons and really loves being in a band. They really make learning to play music so much fun.

I like how diverse the programs are, the involvement of the instructors, and the professionalism shown by the GM. It's a great place to learn.
They maintain a history as well, there's artwork from all the shows and bios for the musicians. It's good to see they care about the students that way.

My daughter leaves her lessons smiling. No matter how her day went or how her week went for that matter, she comes out smiling. The feeling of accomplishment is completely evident in that smile and in her eyes. That tells me all I need to know. This is a very worthwhile investment we’re making in her future. The songwriting group amazes me because it’s something she’s wanted to do for years but didn’t know where to start. But they’ve made progress. I heard the recording. She’s moving her vocals from a classical/opera style to rock style. And learning guitar to boot. She’s involved. She loves her instructors. Absolutely. Worth. It.

Highly engaging for the students
The instructors are real musicians that clearly have a passion for what they do. They are truly invested in making sure that every kid gets their moments to shine. I can’t imagine that there is any other music school out there where kids get to learn, have fun, and be truly inspired. My only regret is not enrolling my child sooner.
Our instructor is very personable with our son. None of the instruction is forced and everything is done light heartedly. There is always different approaches to teaching in order to learn new skills. Our son may not have liked practicing as much as he should of, but he always enjoys going to his lessons and seems to learn the most during that time.
So far I've had a very positive experience with staff. From scheduling, to registration, and lessons. Everything has been great!
We participated in a beginners drumming program. Our teacher was very encouraging and positive. Really enjoyed the atmosphere at school of rock too, very friendly and professional. The other kids were all really nice. Only thing I would suggest would be to have more specific homework. For a beginner drummer, our daughter wasn’t quite sure where to begin sometimes at home. Highly recommend SOR.
