My visit with Dr. Taormina couldn't have gone any better.
A courteous and helpful greeting at the front, a very few minutes wait time, and we were in a room with doctor. He had already reviewed my records in detail and was well aware of what I had going on, my history and such.
Dr. Taormina was friendly, professional and explained what was up. My questions were answered and all options were explained while we discussed risks and benefits of each.

When I first arrived, the check-in line was almost out the door but they processed everyone through pretty quickly and I ended up not waiting very long to see the doctor. Everyone in the office was friendly.
I arrived at the site a bit early, was seen within minutes of my appointment time, was xrayed on site and met the doctor who performed an EXCELLENT exam of my knee while explaining what he was doing and what he was finding. He reviewed the xrays with me and provided a range of options. I was disappointed but not surprised at the findings and options.

Your office staff is very friendly and professional. We have been seeing Dr. Whitaker for 25 years after he treated my dad. He was honest and forthcoming about the shoulder surgery he performed on him, that could have been avoided, had he done another test. He was trying to save my dad money. He didn't have to tell us that. We knew then that Dr. Whitaker was going to be our orthopedic doctor, and he has seen all members of our family. He is one of the most compassionate doctors I have ever met. He prayed with me before my shoulder surgery. What a great comfort! JOI is so lucky to have him and so are we.
