Wait time in the lobby before being taken to exam room was minimal. Nurse obtained initial clinical information and PA arrived in the room shortly thereafter. He wanted an x-ray done, and x-ray technician came for me within minutes. Once the x-ray was taken, then technician returned me to the exam room, pulled up the x-ray results, and the PA was back in the room shortly. After some discussion, it was determined that PA would inject cortisone and anesthesia into my shoulder. This was done, and I was provided my paperwork to take to the front desk to schedule an MRI and follow up visit.
This entire process was efficient, my care was provided in a relatively short amount of time, the PA was personable and considerate, and I was in and out of the office in about 1 hour.
I have been to another orthopedic group, and every time I was there my wait time was tremendous and my appointments took 2-3 hours. I appreciate the efficiency of this office.

I am an old patient & when I fell X-rays showed a nondisplaced fracture of the radius but were unable to clearly identify a wrist fracture because of arthritis. I called for Dr Steinberg & with records including X-rays worked me into his schedule in 2 days. I did indeed have a fracture at the base of my hand in addition to the radius. No surgery was needed, PTL, I have a brace & instructions for rom exercises. I am appreciative that I could be seen promptly & alleviate any further problems!
Dr. Smith quickly performed an exam and knew what my problem was. He ordered the MRI, same day, and scheduled a follow up phone call for two day later. He talked with me about seeing Dr. Miller and set up that visit too. It was not 4 appointments, weeks in between the visits and tests and then weeks for a follow up. His staff and nurses were friendly and helpful. One of the best doctor visits, exam, tests, and outcomes I have ever experienced.
