The highest professionalism all the way around. I suffered a severe foot injury while on a trip with my family. I didn’t really know what i should do but remembered JOI from a shoulder surgery i had 15 years ago with Dr Kaplin. I called them and was referred to Dr C. They amazingly got me in the same day with Dr C. His Head assistant Melanie was so professional and kind, the xray team made me laugh and kept me positive about everything. Even their sports PT came up to help me with fitting crutches. Dr C was very calming and confident that i would be fine no matter what the issue was. X-rays and MRI done in 2 days, diagnosed with Lisfranc injury which Dr C could tell just from feeling my foot on the first visit. Surgery scheduled 5 days later. The surgical team were all incredible. Everything went very well and I’m back at home recovering. Dr C even personally followed up with me this morning. Just an incredible Team. I will recommend them to everyone.

Dr.Smith and staff are always helpful and pleasant. Dr. Smith has helped so many of us in my family for over 20 years and even helped my 100 year old Mother-in-law! with her shoulders this year .
She can now lift her arms again and turn on her light switch and eatt with her fork in the dining room at the assisted living facility she lives in!
We love Dr. Smith and so Thankful we have him here in Fernandina.
