My appointment with Dr Kitay was on time. He performed a thorough examination of my hand and said he doesn't see advanced signs of Dupuytren's Contracture which was pleasing to hear since my grandfather had serious problems with that disease. He examined the lump on my left small finger and used a syringe to see if the lump had fluid in it. It did not so he doesn't think it is a cyst but possibly a small tumor. Though it isn't causing pain I expressed concern for the tumor and Dr Kitay will remove it on June 17, 2024 at the JOI Surgery Center. I was pleased with Dr Kitay and his professionalism and the same for the nurses and clinic staff.
I was treated kindly and efficiently.
Everything, the amazing staff, everyone is so friendly and compassionate. It was my first time at the office and I am actually looking forward to my surgery, I feel at ease !
A courteous and professional staff to greet you upon arrival and a team of great doctors to care for you. The MA's are grey too. Also, prompts to the X-ray techs as well.

Ten years ago Dr Picerno treated my injured shoulder with a guided injection. A few weeks ago the shoulder became a problem again. On this past Monday I called the JOI office to set an appointment with Dr. Picerno. My expectation was to have to wait a few weeks to get in to see him, but to my surprise I was able to see him the next day, Tuesday. I again expected to have to wait some time to get in to see Dr. Martin for the injection procedure, but again it was a next day appointment. Here it is Thursday and my shoulder is pain free. WOW!
A combination of a favorable alignment of the stars and a very efficiently run front office and great doctors and staff led to the best experience I have ever had in a medical setting.
Every one and every thing was done professional and they was very courtesy.

I really liked Dr Keller. He was pleasant and kind, as was the front office staff. Life has been difficult for the last 6 years and I have had quite a few either rude or had a "just didn't care" attitude. I never went back to those doctors, dentists, etc.
I worked in a Cardiac Cath Lab for 5 years in San Diego years ago. Out of the 8 doctors, there were only 3 that I would see. And 1, I would have yanked his license.
Attitude and courtesy makes all the difference. Truly caring about the patient is what it's all about.

Everything was done professionally and with great care
Although I had not been a patient of Dr. Smith for about 2 years, when I called about a new knee injury, I was given an appointment in less than a week. I was seen promptly and taken care of quickly. The doctor, the assistants and the people at the desk were all friendly and helpful. The Fernandina office is close to my home and also provides rehab at the same location regardless of where any surgeries were done.
Great customer service and the doctor explained everything perfectly.
