As a woman, I enjoy feeling empowered amongst other strong women, and I really enjoy the community aspect of breathing together and going through the journey of class together. It feels just the right amount of hot since I can choose which class and heat I prefer, unlike Bikrim yoga which is too hot and crowded and goes too fast. I love the challenges different C1, C2, HPF classes bring. I go to the location that's an eight minute walk from my house, so I like that I'm practicing with my neighbors too.

Schedule and teachers

This studio has some of the best yoga teachers I’ve ever practiced with. They make you feel welcome right off the bat and the facility is very well kept and clean.
My only wish is that they would enforce mat etiquette more - the yogis tend to sprawl out and take up several spaces at once.

I love the teachers and all around atmosphere. Love the studio and location. The teachers are always welcoming and make you feel like you belong there. It’s a very warm and inviting studio experience. It’s not just a place to get in a workout, it’s a community and it’s spiritually, mentally and physically uplifting!

Core power yoga keeps me strong and flexible and with the great instructors available all day long and into the evenings Core power has enabled my lifelong passion for surfing to continue now into my 70’s . The studio at Clairemont Mesa blvd. is well maintained and parking has not been a problem w/ class schedules that make midday attendance easy for my semi-retired lifestyle. I have a monthly membership and try to attend a minimum of 3 classes weekly but offen make 4 to 5 when combining a Restore class w/ a regular C1 or C1.5 session.
The excellent instructors at this studio make attending these classes a joy and I strongly recommend Core Power Yoga to anyone regardless of your yoga experience >>>>>

The room was warm, the instructor was great and offered a variety of levels. I love opportunity to try challenging poses.

You guys are really rocking it, and becoming my go-to studio. I love that you keep the heat at an appropriate level and aren't in the arms race of "Turn it to unhealthy levels to make them leave the room or give up" that Point Loma & North Park are doing. Ray is a wonderful teacher who brings light to the room when she walks in.
