I especially like the friendliness of the staff! The instructors are kind and take an interest in each student and it really shows. The classes I take and enjoy so much are Sculpt. The workouts are intense, uplifting and imaginative, working literally every part of my body without hurting joints as the intense boot camp with the heavy lifting and minimal instructions were doing. Another words, It is a great place to land to gain intensity and minimize bodily damage!

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Lisa was there to welcome me to my first time ever to CorePower and she definitely made me want to come back. This is a really comfortable environment that seems non-judgmental and very encouraging all around. I would totally recommend this location!

Athletic yet mindful practice. Most athletic yoga I’ve experienced in Portland! Studio right by my house and studios all over the country. Don’t (really) need a gym membership because there’s sculpt.
Amazing teachers; inspiring and challenging classes; schedules that include class options from dusk til dawn. Teachers are clearly inspired to be themselves and are given freedom to make classes unique, diverse, and authentic.

Good workout
The frequency of classes allows me to fit classes into a busy schedule. I also enjoy the teachers who take time to build mantras, intentions, and mindfulness into the class rather than focussing just on the exercise aspects. Teachers who help with adjustments and give attention to alignment increases my satisfaction with a class.

I love Corepower and the classes you provide. I always feel great after. I live and regularly practice at Corepower in Chicago but I love that I have the option to attend studios in different cities. However, I felt that the studio was overheated at the NW location for both the C2 and Yoga Sculpt class I took during my visit to Portland. Both classes felt over 90 degrees. People were getting dizzy and having to leave the room. I felt it was too hot for a Vinyassa practice given the amount of inversions and cardio.
I really like your facilities (clean shower and locker room), the challenge and flow of the c1 class, and the cleanliness and light of your studios.

I really enjoyed my first CorePower class with Kema. She was super kind and friendly, and made me feel at ease when I expressed I hadn't done hot yoga in a while and am not a yoga expert. Her class was challenging but not overwhelming, and I did not feel pressured or embarrassed when I needed to modify a pose to my comfort level. I left class feeling energized and happy, and can't wait to come back! The music was fantastic, as was the lavender scent during savasana. I would have enjoyed a little more time in savasana at the end of the class, but it was still a nice, relaxing end to a great class.
