Student Testimonials
The instructors, Laura, Katie, Caitlin, and Ashley, are AMAZING!
Love the teachers, classes, energy, the cleanliness of facilities and the wonderful merchandise!
Great people and awesome yoga.
I like that this is more than a workout class. The instructors are motivating, the facilities are nice and there is always positive energy. I personally attend the Sculpt classes and I love that I am smiling and enjoying working out. No other fitness class is motivating during the class and satisfying when you complete it. I also can see results with my body which I think is an amazing aspect of Corepower.
Having read Trevor Tice's recent interview on Corepower I would have to agree that the best thing about corepower is its consistency in continually having great instructors. I think Corepower is also unique in that it offers a wide range of yoga practices that suits a variety of needs and the heated rooms create a much better environment to practice.
Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. They make me feel welcome and the classes are really well orchestrated!
Always consistent, music and energy are great, can't get enough of First name removed Jayne's class in Gtown on Mondays and Lauren's class in Bethesda on Saturdays!
The teachers, atmosphere, motivation, everyone's attitudes
The instructors, while they vary in their styles, each bring something really wonderful to the table. The workout is great and so is the atmosphere.
I love how each instructor makes participants feel important and worthy. Whether it's a shout out in class to increase our motivation, or a helping hand, core power truly values the significance of community and self improvement.
After stressful days or weeks, corepower works out my body and my mind. It is the most fulfilling workout I've ever gotten.
I like the variety of classes you offer, as well as the upbeat music and predictability that instructors will provide a great class!
I love the classes--they are a real workout! And everyone is very friendly. The facilities are really nice as well.
Wonderful and friendly teachers. Clean and inviting facility. Uplifting environment. Love the sculpting classes for a terrific workout.
CorePower Yoga has provided me with the opportunity to connect yoga practices as well as high intensity workouts through Yoga Sculpt, the satisfaction from classes such as Hot Power Fusion, and ability to channel my energy in ways that make me feel amazing when I walk out of the studio.
I love everything about the CPY studio in Georgetown. A big thanks to Anya and Eleni for their amazing warm smile and friendly attitude. I am sad that I had to cancel my membership due to moving further than when I live now.
Thanks again CPY and keep up with the GREAT job!
great yoga, but the music is often too loud...
Convenience of the amenities (water, towel, bathroom, Matt), the 3 member team that guided on Sunday Feb 8, 2015 at 12:00 PM
The intensity...
Friendly Staff
CorePower is a great workout and I know I can expect a great work out every time i come to class at any of the DC area studios.
The friendly atmosphere. The front desk is always polite, teachers are positive, offer modifications. It is not a studio that feels intimidating.
Friendly staff, consistent quality of the classes and teachers, nice facility.
I have tried other yoga studios in the past and have not enjoyed myself, but I actually had fun at Corepower and could feel myself getting stronger quickly!
I love the sculpt classes -- there is just so much energy in that class, but I've found that it still gives me the mental stress release and calmness I require from my yoga practice. It's an awesome way to recharge and seize the day at 6:00AM!
how new the studio is, friendly and informed instructors, great music
Very friendly Staff! We are moving to the DC area and Allison was great with class and DC suggestions!
Wonderful facility and staff was very helpful
I wish Gtown studio offered the C3 class (or similar type of class to allow those of us to specifically focus on working toward certain goals) for intermediate\advanced individuals to deepen their practice. Workshops are infrequently offered, and the focus seems more towards getting everyone into Teacher training. Which is great, looking forward to it one day, and I understand the business behind it for the push, But maybe less focus on churning bodies thru the grinder, and shifting some focus on some more offerings for int\adv customers. I'm finding myself, regrettably, looking elsewhere, ie other studios to receive more formal\advanced guidance and focus towards achieving new plateaus, due to current classes levels being geared toward the more casual practitioners. I'm currently attending a class 2x per week that is focused on build\warm up for 30 min towards a certain Asana with 15-20 of practice afterward to "play" help build familiarity, sometimes partner up and guidance. This class with it's regulars really has a great sense of community, then the somewhat in & out gym feeling with other members (non-staff) at our studio.
Sculpt Class at known busy time could be staggered and offered more frequently to avoid having an overcrowded class limiting movement.
Having said above, I LOVE Corepower for all that it has allowed me to become, and all the wonderful people associated with it in the many states\studios I've had the pleasure to frequent, and will be a customer for life. I just wish I could continue being an everyday customer to fulfill my growth, and not have to look elsewhere.
awesome, hot classes!

The close attention the instructors give you, the pace of the classes and the high quality of the routines/instruction.
