I really enjoyed the Sunday afternoon class I took - the flow, the pace, the instructors guidance, etc. was all perfect to me. The Tuesday evening class wasn't as much my style, but I think that's personal preference and isn't meant as a condemnation of the instructor or the studio. Even though the Tuesday evening class was another "Core Power 2", it didn't follow the usual flow and was more focused on the Chakras. There were a lot of "unique" poses that felt unnecessary to me and my practice, but I still enjoyed the class and the teacher was kind. The rooms were heated a bit higher than what is probably appropriate (e.g. I looked at the thermostat during the Tuesday night class and it was at 101 degrees Fahrenheit with intense humidity), which could put newcomers off. The number of shower stalls and the locker room set-up was wonderful. Overall, I liked the studio and if we do end up moving to TX, it will likely become my go to.
Love the location and instructors. Would love to see it a little cleaner and would love to have some community events to make friends and mingle with like-minded people
This studio is here to support you and bring out your best strengths and abilities. Such a tight-knit, welcoming community. In the relatively short time that I've practiced here I already feel most at home and strongest with my practice. All the staff is solid and each class gets my body AND mind working!

Lots of classes and times, easy to make it work into my schedule. I really enjoy the weekend mid morning special classes (live music, particularly like the sculpt/c2 hybrid class)

The facility is conveniently located, very clean and offers a variety of classes. I came out of class feeling rejuvenated and well.

Awesome teacher training class
I would recommend highly, of course with the caveat that CPY is not the perfect studio for everyone, but that it meets my needs and preferences.
I especially like teachers who provide details while guiding practice that explain what muscles are being used in a particular pose or movements building to an asana. More experienced teachers and/or those who have had education specific to the body besides yoga training tend to be considerably better at this. This helps me visualize the physical work going on in my body during class.

Anyway we can keep the lysol out of the workout rooms? Breathing these chemicals in and working out seems to be moving in the opposite directions.

I'm in love with the yoga sculpt class. I love intensity, the flow, the instructors, but most of all I love that it's a different and wonderful experience every single time. I've been practicing for almost 4 months and I've already grown so much. Thanks to CPY (and a few tweaks to my diet), I'm now stronger, leaner, I'm building lean muscle and best of all...I'm more at peace and happy. I feel good!! Thank you!!

Great teachers and customer service. Good schedule of classes nice studio environment. Y’all need to be careful about getting the room too hot though. It should ‘t Get over 100 degrees and ideally you keep it between 90-95. After about 99 degrees the benefits of the heat become diminished in a vinyasa class that generates additions endogenous heat (aka not a Hatha style/bikram class that doesn’t so much). So it’s a good idea to keep an eye on it, I’ve only had a couple teachers that let the room go overboard. I love the heat but as a physician and previous hot yoga instructor I would be doing a disservice to not share this with you.
Triangle is great. Some of the sequences are very hip centric and harmful if not performed more slowly.
Friendly and welcoming environment
I took the C1 with Adrienne on Apr. 19 and absolutely enjoyed the progression of the class. There was a warmup before the warmup and then a clean flow. Very well executed.
Inspiring instructors, great variety of class types and times. Clean studio and super friendly environment. I always walk out feeling 100% better than when I walked in! I’ve been going to CPY for almost 5 years now and love it which is why I keep coming back. Always a great workout!
