Student Testimonials
A great class and I'll be back the next visit to Westwood!
Clean studio, fewer students in class, and teacher Naomie!!
Easy to check in-clean and good instructor
I enjoy Rachel classes on Tuesday and Sundays . Awesome . The location Needs to get clean more often . Over all it is the best location in my opinion.
I love the multiple locations and the consistency of classes across those locations. Miss my pre-covid teachers (only 1 or 2 still around) but some of the new ones are great too.
Loved it! Will be back soon
Great yoga classes!
The intense workout and the positivity!
I feel strong and accomplished after each class!
I love the friendly staff and peaceful environment. It’s always the best part of my week!
I like everything about it. The teachers are excellent, and forgiving. They tell or show a pose, but offer options or 'rest'. It's only as competitive as you want to be. It's a pleasant atmosphere when entering.
great sculpt teachers (that’s the only class i do) and nice people
Positive experience. Good instruction with motivating verbal queues. Everyone can make the 60 minutes their own.
great music and fun work out
I was a walk-in on Saturday 1/22 for the 10am Yoga Sculpt class, and was told how to download app and signed up for a 2-week trial. I took the class and was impressed how the class combined the yoga moves and stances and sculpting with weights. I regularly do strength and weight work 3-4 times a week, and this class was definitely challenging! I have never take a heat class, and it took a while to get used to but then it really enhanced the experience.
Arthur is a very joyful and welcoming instructor and the numerous tips he offered during his instruction really helped me visualize and improve my movement :)
Your instructors are amazing. I especially like Maddy and Shannon. I only wish there were more classes offered although I understand how difficult this is especially during these Covid times.
I love this spot! Excellent job! The class was awesome!

I really love my experience at CorePower Yoga because……
Exercise is at a different level
Cleanliness
Awesome instructors
I just joined and have only taken 2 classes. 1 hot yoga and 1 sculpt class. I am trying yoga in an attempt to restore my hip mobility due to a significant SI joint injury which has left me unable to squat without extreme pain. So far, my hips did not hurt after class and actually seem to feel better. Both of the instructors were very attentive, caring, and kind. I'm hoping this is the remedy to regaining my mobility and be pain free.
Kind and welcoming studio!
The instructor is friendly and knowledgeable
It was peaceful.
I love that there are so many different studios offering classes throughout the day. Samantha at Redondo and Aly on Torrance are both stellar teachers
Hello! This is Name removed, one of the regulars at CorePower Yoga Westwood.
Westwood is my primary studio, and I love it there. Here is some feedback to improve the studio:
Class availability: I understand that scheduling during the pandemic is difficult, but to the extent you can include more sculpt classes (especially the ones that have been recently cancelled) and also fusion classes, that would be nice. There aren’t many classes scheduled on a day-to-day basis.
Class norms: I think CPY needs to reiterate and enforce class norms that in previous years were more strictly enforced. These include:
- Classes starting and ending on time
- Not having people bring in all sorts of stuff into the room when they should be leaving it outside (e.g., cell phones, shoes, backpacks). I find this very distracting and it makes the room look messy
- Not having people leaving class early and putting away their weights during Savasana. This is distracting and takes away from the spirit of the exercise. Perhaps a solution is before class starts, have all of the people who need to leave early be placed near the door so it is not a distraction to the people who can stay the whole time
- Room temperature: If possible, please have the room on the hotter and more humid side. Sometimes the class feels cold and the heaters do not seem to work.
Men’s bathroom: Please consistently have Q-tips, deodorant, and mouthwash stocked regularly. I have been noticing lately that this has not been the case.
Parking time limit: I realize that this may not be possible, but if CPY is able to negotiate free parking for 100 or 105 minutes instead of 90 minutes, this would be very helpful. This likely contributes to people wanting to leave class early.
Let me know if you have any questions. You can call me at Phone number removed.
Thank you and I really love being a part of CPY Westwood!
It was great!
community
Class was fun and teacher was positive. I like the heated room and the added cardio. The lobby could be a little cleaner especially since everyone is walking around barefoot.
I love the team at San Vicente! It makes me so happy to do class there.
