I fell in love with CorePower during my senior year of high school. The free week got me hooked, and right after my week came to an end, I became a member. I continued my practice for about a year until I had to say goodbye heading off to college. As a poor college student, the membership wasn't exactly in my budget, and I was sad to have to end. I continued my practice on my own in my dorm room. Coming home for break, I was ecstatic to find a free class offered by one of my favorite old teachers! I was scared to come back after such a long time without a formal practice, but the class reminded me that at any level the only thing that matters is to show up on your mat. I recommend CorePower not because it's taught me how to yoga or because now I'm pretty darn flexible, but because I'd like to think I've found something bigger by taking my shoes off and stepping on a mat. I like the service because it is very laid back.

I really enjoyed my practice at CorePower. The space was inviting and Chris, our instructor, was very attentive and friendly.

Recently, I took a class with Kym, C1.5. Right from the start the class set you in the right mood. She begins w/turning on soft zen type music, while filling the room with the most pleasant fragrant to prepare you for the class. I have been coming to this studio for about 17months now and I have to say you can tell when a instructor is well prepared for her class including selection of the music. It was a total pleasure to participate in her class, I left refreshed and centered for my Sunday.

Also, just wanted share Kashia will be missed on Monday evenings. She was the only reason I forced myself to the 7:30p class. She was also always prepared and ready to motivate you to a great work-out. I guess I'll just have to visit her at her new home in DuPont Circle.

Karen Leder is the absolute best. She engages and inspires the class members. The routine she created is rigorous and well choreographed.

The instructor and front desk lady were welcoming and friendly. It was my first time at the studio and I was running late from a meeting at work, yet they didn't make me feel awkward or unwelcome. I hate being late, so it was nice to not feel any more pressure and just get into the class and get on the mat. Very excited to continue my groupon and hopefully continue with services at Corepower.

Intensity of classes

Makes me feel very good about myself; allows me to ignore the distractions and stress of the outside world beyond the studio.

I think the classes, studio and entire facility are nice. The classes are such a good workout which leave you feeling centered, at the same time. I feel like it's the one activity that really helps tone, for me.

I love your classes! It is challenging, and the music you play is awesome. You studios are clean, and you guys sale great gear!

The staff, the whole yoga experience

Great and different kind of workout. Instructor was great and vet inviting and the music was on point. It reminded me a lot of the Insanity DVD's I've done in the past except you just substitute the plyometrics in the Insanity workouts for the yoga positions. I'll be back for sure.

Great atmosphere! Friendly instructors, who show multiple variations of poses to help all people in the class.
