Clients/Member Testimonials
The coaching and atmosphere were very accepting and encouraging and not judgemental. Seeing my scores on the screen was fun.
I love that the workouts are different every time I show up. Sometimes I love them, sometimes I don’t, but I’m never bored! I always feel challenged during the workout and accomplished once we’re done.
I love that the coaches tell you what to do. It is a daily set routine, some are easier than others, but all are challenging. There is constant encouragement and help if you need it.
The coaches, the music, the staff. Orange theory is a different work out each day with new challenges constantly coming your way. The energy is contagious. Great stress reliever too
Love that I don't have to think about my workout. Also, I have had knee and shoulder injuries in the past and the classes have improved my strength and alleviated my pain. The coaches are very good at making sure people do the exercises properly to avoid injury.
That the trainer is there if you have any difficulties or if you want to make your work out challenging. Awesome work out environment!
I love having other motivating people in the class as well as have the coach show you how to properly do each exercise ! The coaches are always so motivating and fun!
I get a cardio and strength workout in an hour with great coaches that help motivate me to put in the work.
Everything
Motivation working in a group class and the music!
I love the fact the routine is always changing and challenging.
Consistent with my home gym.
Great staff especially coach. Nice facility and lots of thoughtful extras e.g. hair binders, w-tips, etc. Great culture of respectf, camaraderie and challenge.
Its Always different
Get a great full body workout in 1 hour! And the coaches make you feel special!
The coaches take the time to make sure you are using all the equipment correctly including form when using weights. I like the variety of workouts day to day.
You’re constantly moving and you aren’t distracted by other things.
Gamification of exercise. Incredible instructors. Outstanding, i mean really outstanding staff.
As an advocate of fitness, health and a Physical Educator and one who has been involved in Crossfit training for the past 5-years, I honestly believe this to be one of the most thought out overall workout programs I have been involved in. The foundation it is built on is awesome-heart rates. I really enjoy the variety and the fact that cardio is part of every workout.
OTF (Eastlake) is the best over-all workout I have ever had in the last 50 years. At 71 years old I am in better shape and healthier than I was 20 years ago. The staff makes it a joy to show up and the coaches have a personal interest in not only my goals but of everyone working out. Where else can you get the best personal trainers, supportive staff and classmates, with a great playlist to listen to each session. There is always something to look forward to in each workout!
It’s always different, it’s challenging and I can modify exercises to my ability. I also like that there are alternatives to using the the treadmills like the bike and Strider.
Group dynamic and visual stats help keep me motivated. I also like that's it's basically a personal trainer session every time. In a typical gym setting I feel very intimidated because I don't know what I should be doing or how to use equipment. OTF is an intimidation-free zone!
Variety and challenging.
Changes all the time, coaches that push you, allows you to get stronger both in running and strength.
It is fun and structured.
The coaches are very motivating! I like being able to choose where you start your workout. I choose treadmill most days because, for me, that’s the hardest part. On floor workouts, if the coach notices you doing something incorrectly, they always come help. When I finish a workout, I feel like I have accomplished something !
Modular and always engaging. Trainers are awesome very attentive
High energy, accommodates all levels of fitness, and the variation of each workout.
Cardio focused and independent
When I moved to San Diego, I only knew 1 person in the area. I love orange theory everywhere I have lived. But, this location at UTC, has welcomed me like family. (Well, the good family anyway) lol. The coaches and staff all remember everybody's name. And the members are all very friendly and encouraging!! I love that people of all fitness levels can workout together. And everyone encourages each other. Like, cheering on the last person to finish the 2000 meter row. OTF members are unlike any other gym I've gone to. No competition, no steroid muscle types staring in the mirror. Just great people wanting to improve their health and lifestyle!!
