COURTEOUS, PROMPT, QUALITY WORK
I have used Furniture Medic twice. The first time was through my contractor and FM worked on the the trim, moldings, and cabinets that were newly installed. I was very happy with their work. I also called them to repair my antique secretary. Most of the trim pieces at the base of the piece had fallen off and needed to be reattached. They came to my house for the repair work and everything looks great. It's all in one piece again. They worked quickly and efficiently. I would definitely call them for all my furniture repair needs. They returned my calls quickly and were able to come out to do the repair within a week or two.

When the work was completed on my vanity, there was a small drip in the paint from over-spraying of the paint. It was small, and not visible unless you were very close to the cabinet, but I could see it. There was also a small rough spot, again not visible from far away, but I could see it. I mentioned these imperfections, but I did not want to spend another hour waiting for the team to resand and repaint the cabinet, essentially correcting the work they had just completed, so I accepted the work as “good enough.” In retrospect, I should have had them redo the work. Fortunately, the repair was hidden behind a cabinet door; had it not been, I would have requested the repair be corrected. In my opinion, the repair should have been right the first time, and a technician in training should not have been permitted to work on my cabinet until her skills had been better developed.
