The gym is done in warm tones, not harsh. Makes it very homey and makes me want to come. Always plenty of machines. Always clean. Machines are repaired quickly if needed. Food bar available. Good hours. Price is good. Even when "busy" it is not crowded feeling. Good music.

Free Weights and Resistance on machines
The only improvement I would recommend does not have to do with the facilities. It is the area where the rowing machines are. The direct connection for people to hook up their IPOD and play music of their choice at a loud level should be reviewed. Everyone has different music tastes. When you get one person playing their music list very loud, it does not create a good environment for others.
Other than that, the club is great.
Constant, careful attention to details, from always upgrading machines and refreshing the environment to replacing old towels. It is all much appreciated and it's what sets Harbor Square apart and makes it worth the money.
There is almost something for everyone. Would like to see chair zumba added or at least zumba gold.

The staff is wonderful, easy to work with. The facility is very nice and has such a variety of exercises and classes. Love it, working on getting my husband there.
I was able to be release from my semi private contract because of my doctor's orders I was given several workout options I can do while recovering from my knee surgery. This professionalism is very much appreciated

I love the classes and the pool
The staff is very friendly and helpful. I don't feel intimidated or judged by others working out there. Plenty of equipment and classes to suit whatever workout mood I am in. Love the hydro massage bed! The myzone and DAC app are extremely helpful. The trainers are knowledgeable. I train with Adre and he figured out quickly the best way to help me reach my goals and show me I was capable of doing more. From nutrition to healthy exercise habits, he has kept me on track. I appreciate the little extras (hair dryer, mouthwash, lotion, shampoo, towels, etc.) in the locker room that helps me go from workout to work. I would recommend that the lockers that are missing the lock ring be replaced so that people could safely use them.
The Atascadero Club:
The positives: The friendly staff who greet you coming and going.Jennifer, the friendly trainer. Lauren, the yoga goddess. The indoor pool. The two reclining bikes (easier on the knees, please get more of them, people wait for them, there's only two).
The negatives: bad enough that the pretty tree at the entrance was removed, but what's left looks terrible. A very poor first impression, with no explanation. Also, recently decided to try a chocolate smoothy that was watery and didn't taste good. Threw half of it away, even though I was hungry. Everything else is great!
