The pictures always turn out great! I have an 8 and a 3 year old who got their pictures done this year and I am very satisfied with how both turned out! I haven't received my 3 year old's yet but I got to see the preview. The photographer was also perfectly fine with me putting her little monkey on her head to get my child to smile haha.
It would be nice to have a piece of cardboard or something in the mailers to help prevent them from get wrinkled.
