Our meal was wonderful. It was a much needed date night after a busy week. Anthony took great care of us, and the beverage manager recommended a bottle of wine that knocked our socks off. We can’t wait to come back now that y’all are doing Brunch again. This is maybe our third time dining at a Fifth Group restaurant since things have been reopening, and we’ll absolutely be back.
I have to say the went the extra mile to make us feel safe. The server was fantastic and the food is creative and charmed with southern flavor.

Great food. Interesting drink menu, and I LOVE the cornbread.
The service is great. The staff is friendly and eager to please. If you're not happy with your food or drinks, the servers will make sure that you leave satisfied. I also LOVE the Springer Mountain Farms fried chicken and the waffles. Please don't ever change the recipe or remove it from the menu.

The food is fabulous. Our server was so friendly and had great suggestions. We love the atmosphere and felt safe as the seating was spaced We really missed not dining in during the covid shutdown. It was so enjoyable to dine there once again. Oh, and my favorite was the green salad. Dressing is perfect! Enough for 2 to share. We will be back. Missed this place so much!
The service was excellent! I ordered the shrimp and grits and not only was it rich and tasty, it I received it less than 15 minutes from the time I placed my order.

Great service, great food
So we were back on the first night of reopening after 91 days of not having in house dining. It was such a lovely experience. Manny was our server and he was great. We felt very safe as far as the COVID precautions they are taking. The layout was well spaced out. They were sanitizing stations throughout. The staff were all wearing masks. South City kitchen Midtown is one of our favorite restaurants. We are so happy that their doors are open again.

My wife and I have been regular diners at South City Kitchen in Midtown for over a year. The food is great and the staff are always courteous and accommodating. Their wine selection is limited but what they have is of good quality. Highly recommended.
