This was the 2nd visit in the last couple months. When you called me to ask if I was going to honor my Open Table reservation I responded in the affirmative and asked a question of the woman calling if it would be all right to show up early. She said that weeknights were flexible and that to come half an hour earlier would be OK. We showed up about 7:45 for an 8:15 reservation, stayed for a couple hours, and ran up a tab over $200. Everybody was happy except Open Table who interpreted whatever La Tavola told them to be a changed reservation. They subtracted 900 points from what I thought was to be 1000 pt. reservation. Hey the tip was about $30; what's another $9, right? By the way, we had a great time. Food and service contributed to a lovely evening. No more tattling, though, OK?

What do you like about our restaurant?

We chose La Tavola as the destination for my fathers birthday celebration. And we were not disappointed...The food is amazing! Such a wonderful and modern take on Italian. The service was also putstanding. The waitstaff was not only very pleasant but also knowledgeable. Our waitress made several recommendations from appetizers to wine. All of which turned out to be exactly what we wanted - even if we didnt know it prior to ordering.

Perfect ambiance for our evening. Crystal was great, she truly cares for her guest as if she is hosting them in her own home, with attentiveness and perfection.

I love the food. The waitstaff is excellent. The patio is great. Nice size. I think the interior fixtures are getting a little dated.

good food It was great to see the ravioli back on the menu. Unfortunately, the pound cake was gone from the dessert menu. The substitute was not as good.

Emily, our server, went above and beyond in making our dinner truly enjoyable last evening. I wasn't feeling well, and requested an entree be served with a different side than was listed on the menu. She made a request to the kitchen and they graciously provided it for me. It was delicious! Everyone, from the hostess, to the servers to the kitchen staff were incredibly welcoming and genuinely wanted us to enjoy our evening. We always eat at La Tavola anytime we are in the area.

The food is always so perfectly prepared and seasoned. I had the burrata salad and baked chicken this visit. The salad was delicious. The chicken was served with broccoli rabe and peas. Even though broccoli rabe is one of my least favorite vegetables, it was a nice compliment to the chicken. Although, there are plenty of gluten free options available, I wish the restaurant would serve a gluten free pasta . Storico offers quite a few gluten free pasta options on their menu, so I think La Tavola could offer at least one.
