Everything! The food, atmosphere, service, convenient location are all wonderful. I love the regular menu items (fried goat cheese balls and pappardelle), but look forward to the new and season items. I got to try the roasted mushroom flatbread last time (OMG…the crispy mushroom and béchamel sauce combo are to DIE for). My boyfriend (a meat lover) didn’t even notice it didn’t have meat on it! The deserts are perfection too. Last one I had was the Streusel Kuchen and it was so well balanced and not super sweet. The staff there clearly care about their guests having a delightful evening. Just perfection!

The atmosphere was amazing and our server Humlao was the absolute best! I’ve visited this location a couple times, but the experience I had this time exceeded my usual expectations.

The best service we've had in a long time. Mike is everything you're looking for in a waiter. Knowledge level of the food and drinks were spot on with great timing for the entire meal. Can't wait to come back.

Ecco Midtown rocks... It is the premiere location for all Fifth Group restaurants. The food (props to the Chef for an innovative and expressive menu), the staff (all are outstanding) and the ambiance all make for a stellar evening. We have been to many other Fifth Group locations - time and again we have found that none compared with Ecco Midtown.

The service was great. Our server made good recommendations and the food was delicious.
Everything was excellent but a few presentations points could be improved. Mussels should have been served with toasted garlic bread as side. They also should have been served with a cocktail fork and a separate bowl for shells.
Espresso should have had lemon zest on side.
Overall, excellent quality food and attentive service (ate at bar).
We really enjoyed our dinner, it was the first time and we will certainly go back.
The lightning and the atmosphere on the patio was lacking "ambiance". Maybe some flowers, green plants will be a good addition. The food was excellent as well as the service.
Excellent atmosphere, amazing food. Our server, Harold, was incredibly helpful, friendly, and made excellent recommendations for food, wine, appetizers, and cocktails. We will certainly go back soon, and we will specifically ask for Harold - he was wonderful.

The staff, service and food consistently exceed our expectations. We live in the neighborhood and enjoy dropping in for an early dinner at the bar, or to meet friends for a delightful experience in the dining room. The staff are always extremely cordial and knowledgeable. Our favorite "go to" restaurant.
