Load time was double what I was told. Crew tried to leave several items that were to be loaded, had to carry some items out to truck that were "forgotten". I ended up taking some items in my own vehicle as there was no more room. Load was to be off loaded on Saturday and I had a friend take a day off work to meet the truck didn't show up until Sunday. Called your call center and was met with a snarky attitude and told I would be getting a return call from a supervisor, never happened. Was told a 10x20 storage space was plenty of room for my stuff, nope, a P/U truck of my stuff is now being stored at my friends. If you want to make me happy adjust my bill by a reasonable amount and don't charge me for the loading blankets. I will return the blankets at my expense you have my word on it as I will have no use for them. I probably forgot something but you get the jest of it.

The movers were very courteous and very quick. Most everything was wrapped completely so that it was safe during the move. We only had one little problem. The leg of our nightstand was not wrapped and it had some pretty good scratches on it. Customer service did reach out to us the next day to help us resolve the problem.
There were only 3 movers who showed up initially instead of 4. There was confusion with the warehouse about whether the movers were helping with load only, but it was for load and unload. They could not fit all our big items into the truck. The moving company is advertised as being composed of college student athletes, but not all the movers sent were necessarily students or even college athletes.

We had a very frustrating moving experience. We were quoted very differently from what actually occurred on our moving day. The lead mover evaluated what he saw (which was no different from what I showed in the initial FaceTime call, but we had worked hard to move everything into one location, to try to make the movers be as efficient as they could be on our moving day, knowing how pressed for time we were) he then told us based on what he saw, our estimate would be almost $1,000 more than our original quote. Our movers arrived late, from Fresno instead of San Luis Obispo which is what we expected, one man short, who called in sick, and our timeframe was not at all reached even though, out of necessity, we had to join the moving crew to make at least five full car and truck loads with three of our own vehicles. We were told they could begin st 9am but didn’t start moving anything until after 10, then took an hour long lunch break at 11:45. We understand the need for a break and it was a hot day, but we were so pressed for time it would have been nice if the lunch break were staggered so we could continue making moving progress. We missed our timeframe by several hours, were left with much to move on our own because the crew apparently ran out of room to move what they told us they would. My husband and I were struggling to move what was left until 7:30 pm, extremely embarrassed because the new owners were trying to move in, as our escrow officially closed at 3pm. This was a very frustrating experience for us and it was extremely expensive. We thought hiring a moving company would make things easier, but instead, it added a lot of extra stress and work for us, and cost us dearly.

I was contacted multiple times prior to my schedule date to confirm any details of the move. The team was very friendly and thorough while moving my items. They were able to take excellent care of my items and maneuver larger items with ease despite many challenging doorways
The price was steep. 1 guy hustled the other walked slow and wasn’t helping till I kept asking him let’s go. 1 1/2 hour to break down a bed no tools we had to supplie a drill from our maintenance and no time to put bed back together. Thank for the help better than none but could’ve worked on better customer service in the area of hustling I mean that’s why I bought the service. Hard work when young makes easy work when you golden.

Very professional from the office to the movers. Our movers Reno and Tyler were fast, friendly and very good.
1. Virtual estimate worked well for estimating cost but was 2x off on how much space we needed in your storage facility. Estimate was a 10x20 needed. We actually needed 2 10x20 units.
2. We were promised two trucks and only one showed up. This extended the time to be nearly 2x what we were expecting.
VERY reliable. Generally very capable and energetic personnel throughout the organization. We had a particularly difficult move, that while it took longer than anticipated, was completed without issue or damage. This is the second move we have used Meathead movers and highly recommend them. You know ahead of time what your cost is going to be, which is a very secure feeling. I highly recommend them to anyone needing to move across town or across the state.
Good attitude, did not waste time, very careful, they did a good job!
My initial estimate was approximately $630. The final bill was $1574...I had budgeted for the estimate so the final bill was way over the top for me and I had done so much of the move myself. I am not rating the movers as it is a very hard job..especially in hot North county and I did tip them well feeling sorry for them. That being said this was not the muscular student athlete jogging back and forth that is portrayed by meathead movers. I worked hard too and felt the bill was out of proportion and so asked
several people what they thought and in a word..shocked. This is not a complaint against the movers..I would not rate them as it is a very physical hard labor job just feel the final bill I guess determined by management was awfully high..more than double the estimate and hard on those on a fixed income and naive about all this estimate versus real cost .

Very professional & excellent service from the gentlemen who assisted us with the moving.
The crew was on time as scheduled and always hustled as promised. They did a great job wrapping and protecting, loading and unloading everything. They were very efficient and did their best to try and keep the job within the first 4 hours. The guys were so friendly and accommodating and made the whole process go smoothly. I highly recommend Meathead Movers!
