This was the second time we used Meathead Movers. Both times we received excellent service. Customer service was awesome. The movers were very accommodating. I would definitely recommend Meathead Movers to family and friends.

I had used in the past but this time I was able to contract for an on-call, one hour service. That was very helpful and cost effective for me.

I think I was over-charged. The estimate should be a not-to-exceed amount, but I should have only been charged for the time it took to actually do my move. I was charged for three hours, which was exactly how long it took - but with the movers taking an hour for lunch. So I paid for their lunch hour. A ripoff. Though they did a good job, it ended up costing me $700 for two hours work. That's $350.00 per hour. I could have rented a truck and hired two guys for half what I paid. That's what I'll do in the future.

I gave a good rating at the time, but in retrospect, and looking at the amount I was charged, I regret using Meathead Movers.

Ask more questions when doing quote regarding belongings, most people don’t think about what or how much stuff they actually have, older folks are more forgetful along with stressed out folks, I would suggest a physical walkthrough. Moving liquid items are about a regular truck load which is no big deal but I had a 10’ u-haul full after the movers moved a full truck load. My husband is mid sixties and I’m late fifties with physical disabilities we would have paid more to get everything moved since that was the whole point in hiring younger people.

You can replace the dented door on my $3.6K Samsung 4-door refrigerator.
You can replace the smashed power cord on this same refrigerator.
You can replace the missing power cord on my Samsung 65" TV.
You can replace the wheel that they broke off of my Thomasville dresser.
You can replace the latch that they broke off of one of the leafs to my dinner room table.

These kids don't know their job.
Neither of the power cords were secured their respective appliance as they should have been.

The team leader should be fired. I had to show him how to get my desk into my office after he said it was impossible and had given up. He insisted on using the hand-truck to get the refrigerator out of the front door instead using the forearm straps. As a result the buckle on the hand-truck strap hit the door jab and made the dent. When confronted about the wheel broken off of the dresser, he just shrugged his shoulders and turned around and left the room.

I didn't discover the broken latch until the next day but I'm sure it would have the same story.

The lead person took too much time after they loaded the items, he stopped moving items and took the time to organize it in the truck; while carrying a conversation with the assistant who was just standing in the truck doing nothing, but listening. They had to put in the items sitting in the garage and one piece of the bed in the room. The assistant never did run without any items; he lacked knowledge on moving anything; he was very slow in motion and he had to ask the lead person most of the time for directions on minor transporting items to be moved. We identified real quickly that he was new and in training.

Both persons were polite, professional, and helpful. I did not have much to move, mostly boxes. It should not have taken 3 hours. They were recorded while they were in the truck talking about the problem the lead person had with a previous job. They broke two plates, but they were inexpensive so I excused it.

I rated them and your other services accordingly, my son gave them $100 tip as he believes in supporting workers. They also left packaging items in my daughters living room. I have them if you want them back. I'm writing this review because I recently referred a friend to use your company, but I'm hoping this will help with identifying areas that need improvement and additional training for your employees.

Best move ever with 2 very hard working young men. They were very courteous and caring, especially with my 89 year old mother.

We want to thank you so much for the moving. Everything went well. Very pleased with the workers. They were even an hr. early to deliver the furniture and put it right were I wanted.
