The Y offers programs for people of all ages and abilities! It is a very friendly environment and members enjoy the social interaction. There is no place quite like the YMCA! Tony Keim
The East Side Y management addresses the needs of the members much better than the Glenwood Y. Based on experience the East Side Y employees take the time to listen to members concerns' and solve problems rather than ignoring the member.
I am impressed with the variety of activities available for all age groups. The lobby gives off a home like atmosphere when I walk through the front doors.
Although LECOM has reopened and is within my budget I see no reason to leave the Y. Over the past few years, I have made several friends and renewed old friendships at the East Side Y. The Y is not just a facility to me it is a place where I am comfortable to be me. I respect the Y staff in all the jobs they do and extra hats they wear. No wonder it has flourished for the past 172 years.
