I like everything
YMCA in Sacramento it's just so clean it's hospital clean. I have a member of 24 hour fitness downtown Sacramento and the showers have mold. The pool in Sacramento YMCA is heated nicely. It's a pleasure to swim in the pool. The pool is my main reason to come to the YMCA in Sacramento. Thank you so much for taking care of the place.
We are new to Sacramento, and the Y was recommended to us. Wonderful place to meet people.
The pool, the friendly atmosphere and Pat the water arthritis leader.
I go to Boot Camp with Hallie on Tues. and Thurs. mornings, and she is amazing!
I like to see so many people around. having fun
Senior exercise classes, pool activities for seniors. Friendly people and awesome
Activity leaders. The best!!
Excellent instructors; good variety of classes; friendly community
Good instructors, very nice people in classes. One thing that needs work is front desk people are not very knowledgeable about YMCA, in the AM are almost sleeping. But overall it is a good experience to be involved in this organization. The downtown facility is beautiful and I want to utilize it more.
As a senior, I appreciate having the warm water pool available for the water exercise classes.
Variety of group ex classes
I really appreciate the collegial atmosphere of the Y. Other members are friendly and there is an upbeat feeling to our classes. I particularly value the outstanding teachers - Tia (for Pilates), Jenson (for cycling), Vanessa and First name removed (for Yoga), Mohammed (for Strength and Stability) and Elias (for Top to Bottom).
The trainers and class teachers are terrific!
a variety of fitness classes available.
Friendly, clean, easy to use environment, lots of options.
My main use of the Y is the pool. But I know from years of membership that the Y is a place for young and old (& very old like me).
Good variety of classes and other workout options.
I love my arthritis swim class led by Pat Wolfe :)
Accessibility, relaxed atmosphere. I can roll in and do my workout without being judged. I don’t have to worry that I’m wearing the wrong attire.
Great vibes!
Friendly people, caring staff that encourage people to maintain their health.
Swim classes
I've been coming to the arthritis water class for probably 20 years. It is excellent and Pat Wolfe is an amazing leader for that group.
As long as Frank was teaching it, I also attended the morning tai chi class and it was excellent as well.
Since 2006 I have consistently worked out at the Y, initially based on medical advice and something to do in retirement. In the later half of 2006, I began to explore the various classes offered at the Y. The Y has had many knowledgeable and caring instructors to help ease the transition into the variety of classes I tried. Within each class the various member students and instructor created a very welcoming, friendly, and caring environment to always make me want to come back.
my experience with the YMCA is gratitude to be around the women that instructors for our swimming exercise groups has been uplifting experience for me and I have been able to accomplish a weight loss goal that I’ve never have since I’ve put on weight until I got to the YMCA I have made friends and enjoyed myself immensely with the laughter and I’m surrounded with and the relationships that I have formed.
