Swim classes
I've been coming to the arthritis water class for probably 20 years. It is excellent and Pat Wolfe is an amazing leader for that group.
As long as Frank was teaching it, I also attended the morning tai chi class and it was excellent as well.
Since 2006 I have consistently worked out at the Y, initially based on medical advice and something to do in retirement. In the later half of 2006, I began to explore the various classes offered at the Y. The Y has had many knowledgeable and caring instructors to help ease the transition into the variety of classes I tried. Within each class the various member students and instructor created a very welcoming, friendly, and caring environment to always make me want to come back.
my experience with the YMCA is gratitude to be around the women that instructors for our swimming exercise groups has been uplifting experience for me and I have been able to accomplish a weight loss goal that I’ve never have since I’ve put on weight until I got to the YMCA I have made friends and enjoyed myself immensely with the laughter and I’m surrounded with and the relationships that I have formed.
Consistency well maintained gym. Plenty of equipment and comfortable environment.
The employees are all friendly. The variety of group classes is great. Jen Keith is a wonderful personal trainer!

Excellent instructors, friendly staff...
The professionalism and caring attitude of the instructors and front desk staff. I appreciate the variety of classes to accommodate all levels and especially like the classes to help seniors build muscle, improve balance and integrate mind/body movement. The Y has been essential in helping me improve my overall health and quality of life.

The group Head to Toe Tuesday and Thursday classes with Amy and Elias are my favorites. Great instruction and the sense of community with my fellow participants. I’ve made lasting friendships thru these classes
I have also recently tried the aerobic dance class on Mondays which is also a great group class.
Variety of activities
The clinic was interesting, I learned more about the importance of strategic drop shots and believe I left as a better player. The coaches were very good as well. I have taken some classes from Scott, he is an awesome coach.

As an 81 year old, I appreciate the classes you offer geared toward seniors and I am enjoying them. I’m only available to come three days a week, but the three days have made a tremendous difference. A special shout out to the instructors and their knowledge.

I really enjoy the YMCA as it caters to everyone, has flexible classes and going there is enjoyable. I really believe I benefit from the workouts. The staff and teachers are great.

The Y is my take care of me place. Clean, friendly and welcoming. I try to come by both centers at least 3 times a week. The Capital Y is great for a spa getaway. I truly appreciate the staff and my fellow Y members.
It's a nonprofit and has great activities for kids that I want to support even if I don't have kids yet. The price is affordable And I get all the services that I want out of a gym.
Love the vibe at the Y. The classes are great and put together for my age range yet very beneficial to my aging needs. Instructors are personable and display true caring for each person in their classes. They are knowledgeable and give clear, concise instruction that allow the majority to follow. Also the program shows that the preparation was in place and not a last minute thought. The detail of instruction also conveys the concern the instructors have that no one will get hurt trying to complete a segment.
Classes are offered so one can attend everything they want in a weeks time.

The pool exercise is making me healthy in my elder years. Great company with the ladies who swim.
I enjoy my arthritis class in the pool with Pat Wolfe three times a week. I’ve introduced many people to this class. Best thing I do for my health and wellbeing.

Accessibility, relaxed atmosphere. I can roll in and do my workout without being judged. I don’t have to worry that I’m wearing the wrong attire.
