Love the booking experience but it does seem odd to pay a fee when electronic booking is the only option.
All of the employees were extremely friendly & helpful. The snacks were fresh & the chairs in the theatre are the most comfortable we have ever sat in in a movie theatre.
The movie theater was very clean. The seats were so comfortable. The only problem was that the theater went cashless and didn't use tap-to-pay. My son's friends couldn't pay for their items with their money, which made everything confusing for them and the cashier.

We really enjoyed our experience. We left and discussed how we both enjoyed this theater better than the other We usually go to. Price was better. Chairs and sound were much better. We'll definitely be back.

Lounge seats
I live in Mandeville, and happily spend the extra time to drive to Slidell to go to Santikos. It's a much more laid back and comfortable experience than the Movie Tavern Covington theater that's closer to me.
With that being said, it probably wouldn't hurt to spend a few bucks updating the public areas and restrooms, and freshening up the exterior to match the rest of the experience.
