We absolutely loved our first time experience with YMCA Johnstown! This was our first time signing our boys up for sports and it has been so wonderful. We really enjoyed and appreciated Caleb, he brings the fun, excitement, energy, and motivation on the field and he takes time with each kid as well. We liked that the groups aren’t too big so that each player can engage one on one, stay focused, and have a better experience learning the sport. We are looking forward to having our children try out more sports with YMCA Johnstown!
The trainer with whom I work (Justin) is able to tailor the training to my needs. He also is very good at hearing my feedback and responding appropriately.

Great staff and good Silver Sneakers program. Great workout facilities and personal trainers available. Facility’s availability is a plus.
The Johnstown YMCA is always open when I want to exercise. It has all the equipment I need to stay in shape. The pool is beautiful and well maintained.

Classes and teachers
Close to home and so clean and spacious.
I especially like the foyer; it´s so open and filled with light. The entire building is spacious and clean, and the employees are all friendly. There´s a variety of classes offered throughout the day which makes it convenient.
I utilize the locker area the showers and restrooms are kept clean and I good condition. I also utilize the family pool which is kept at a comfortable temperature and the lifeguards are good about checking the pH levels. The hot tub is kept in good shape as well. It is drained and filled at least once a week

Very friendly staff and very clean other than the swimming area. Everyone is very open to the machines.
Structured sessions, knowledgeable instructors, repetition, very little wasted time, small group sizes, keeps children having fun while engaged.
