Selfishly, the Y enables me to play pingpong several days each week, with a running/walking track as a backup for exercising on rainy days. In a larger sense, I like the fact that the Y provides so many services for less-fortunate members of the Boulder area.
A friendly hello from the front desk and availability of cardio machines. What I don’t like is the connectivity to tv/shows are not available on all. I bounce between the Boulder and Lafayette Y

1) the facility is clean, well organized, and the equipment/ workout machines are kept in top condition.
2) The two trainers that I have worked with over many years now were excellent in that they understood the limitations of older clients and interacted with me to give me the kind of workouts that I could handle.,
3) the change rooms have lots of lockers so I've never had a problem of finding an empty one when I come in.
4) Everyone at the Y has been very friendly and always asked if there was anything they could do for me.

I think the Y is beautiful. It is spotless and also quite roomy. You don't feel like you are elbow to elbow as you do in some other workout places.
