My daughter has been attending YMCA child care since kindergarten and she is now going to be a 2nd grader. They have been nothing but good with her. before and after care and Y care spring break and when they are out of school. They have been so great especially with being a single mother, when school closes after 2 hour delays. It just has been a great pleasure to have an opportunity to have this kind of help with my child.
The YMCA administration team has always been very great and easy to work with. The Y care teachers have never hesitated to communicate any issues with me when it comes to my child.

The only major complaint is the cost. You raised the price 3 times last year. 25% of monthly paychecks goes to pay for before and after care for 1 kid; and aftercare for my other child. Since covid, you don't provide school delay coverage unless you go to FWCS. My kids are in EACS and we have more delays and we don't get reimbursed for the days they don't go. You no longer provide the service but we still pay. I also don't like the penny wars. It wouldn't be bad but you run it for several weeks. I already pay alot every month but in order for my kid not to feel left out or peer pressured, I have to give more money.
Staff is attentive and engaged with all the children.
The staff are great. Check in and out is easy. My child has so much fun that on days I wouldn’t need to have go due to a change in work schedule, she still begs me to go!
My daughter loves her y-care PreK class (miss Angie and miss Kay) at Holland. She talks about it more than her morning PreK class! You can tell how much they care about the kids, they go above and beyond teaching them letters, numbers and doing crafts.
Home away from home.
This program is a life saver for families that need child care before and after school. My daughter has loved going and is excited everyday. She is making friends and the staff is so welcoming.

The last couple years have been tough. Staffing issues and no Ycare for 2-hour delays have made things tough. Other than that it is nice being able to drop off our son so I can get to work on time.
My daughter Lillyanna loves going to Y care before and after school. When a child looks forward to going to Y care before and after school that speaks highly of the Y care providers. So friendly and caring.
I am so very grateful to the YMCA child care and all of the Y care Providers at Arlington Elementary School.

Good fun for kids, good care 👏
Ycare has been a great support for me as a working mom. The YCare provided in my son’s school has always communicated with me about any concerns and we’ve never had any issues.
The kids enjoy being there and likes the staff.

I love that I’m able to drop my daughter off at her school in the morning and she can go to ycare at school for after care. It’s very convenient for me as I work 730-5 every day and ycare runs 6a to 6p. Shoutout to Miss D at Franke Park for sticking with the kids for as long as you have! You definitely are a great asset to this program and I’m glad you’ve stuck around! Shout out to Miss K during the morning as well! Thanks for everything you two do! Also, I don’t want to leave out the structure that has grown as well in the ycare program at Franke Park! Couldn’t ask for a better place to have my daughter before and after school!
We've been with Y care since 2014, both my kids have enjoyed all the staff and safe environment they provide!!!!

It is right in the school, no transportation needed l.
My daughter love going to the Y care it's her favorite place to be. Also, I love that the Y care is in her school the idea of her not leaving the building makes me stress free. I don't have to worry about her or the danger of the rode or who is driving her.
