My children have gone to Y-Care since my 19-year-old was in 4th grade. They have always provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere for my children so much that my youngest wanted to go to Y-Care just because he missed the staff. Miss Pam has been there with all four of my children and I cannot say enough good things about the program that she has created for our children at St. Joe Central. They are always working on modeling how to build positive interactions among the students at the program.

The Y-Care before and after school has been a life saver. It works for both our schedules and my child really enjoys going and often is disappointed when it’s time to go. The team at Harris Elementary is so caring and kind.
Our son has been going to the before care since Kindergarten. Over the last three years he has enjoyed all the activities they do before school at Harrison Hill Elementary. He has also been in the summer program there and loves being able to hang out with friends.

This program is more than just a safe place for my child to go afterschool. She is able to learn so many additional skills outside of pure educational skills that supplement her educational skills to help make her a fully rounded person :)
It is also very clear that her site director cares for the children attending and wants to do her part in ensuring these children learn these skills.
My daughter loves YCARE so much! The teachers in the afternoon at Holland are amazing! Miss Katie has been a blessing the last couple years and my daughter LOVES her. The new teacher Miss Mia I believe is just as nice and we love Clay, the new director. My daughter specifically says he’s so nice because the first day she told her he liked her bow. Little things like that go along way with kids her age and she’s just blossomed being in YCARE the 4 years. Sometimes I will pick her up and she doesn’t want to leave! I can’t say enough how amazing that location has been to us. Also as a single parent the assistance has helped me be able to continue keeping her there.
It's been the safest route for my child to go to before or after school. I know they are safe, still learning, and also having fun! I really appreciate you guys being there for my kids!
