My 10 and 6 year old sons had a great time at camp. This was their first year at Y camp and are excited to go back again next year.

We’ve had a really positive experience at the YMCA. The facility and equipment are clean, and the staff and other visitors are generally polite and welcoming. There are occasionally some unruly teens, but overall, it’s a great environment for families.
My child’s swim coach, Kinzie, is a dream! He’s excited to go to swim class and loves the kids club, which makes the YMCA a place he genuinely looks forward to visiting. The pool will be closed for the month, and he is already impatiently waiting for opening day!
If I could make a couple of improvements, I’d love to see more gym space and an additional basketball court, as well as an outdoor whirlpool for the summer. Overall, though, we’re very happy with the YMCA and appreciate the positive experience it provides for our family.
My child went to the Parkview YMCA Summer Day-Camp this summer 2026. (Kindergarten going into first grade) She really enjoyed all the activities and genuinely looked forward to going every day. I was very happy with how well-organized everything was. Dropoff and pick up was easy (although I sometimes forgot which pickup location I was supposed to go to for that day as it's an alternating schedule). She made a lot of friends and looks forward to coming back next year. The only couple of negatives I'd say were that there are no microwaves for her to warm up her lunch and no refrigerators to store her lunch bag in until lunchtime - we just packed lots of ice packs and she had cold lunch all summer - she didn't mind too much and is just a small negative. She also had a pretty lengthy time outdoors from 4pm-6pm on days when pickup was scheduled at the playground. I was concerned on the very hot days, but they normally had them inside if it was especially hot - so it typically wasn't a problem and I just made sure to arrive early on playground pickup days. We will happily try to sign her back up again for next summer. (Spots fill up fast!)
We love Y Camp. My 2nd grader just finished another summer at camp and it was another great year! On the last day, my kiddo started crying in the car as he realized he left behind a note from his teachers. We had to turn around and go back to get the note to keep the tears away! He loved his counselors, the friends he made, and all the activities they did over the summer. Y camp has given us a safe, fun way to keep our kids active during the summer. We will see you next year!
The kids had fun there. Convenient drop-off and pick-up times/procedures.
The overall experience continues to be a positive one for my children attending summer Y camp. This year there were a few more behavioral issues that were talked about on the way home which sounded as if the handling of them was inconsistent at best. I plan to sign up again for next year and won't hesitate to share what I hear right away to support correcting behavior and rewarding positive behavior.

I plan to come back at take Restorative Yoga or another Silver Sneakers group exercise class.
There's something for everyone, from ages 0 to 100! It produces health and wellness, all while meeting new people and building a community of friends. If you're in need for the body, mind and soul to grow, build and flourish, what better way to do it than with a community of people who are all striving for a common denominator.
I love the friendly staff and the variety of adult classes.

The staff are all so kind and very helpful!
I told my son going into the week that he would enjoy it so much that he would want to go back. He was nervous and excited to go, so I was trying to help the situation, while also knowing my statement was true. At the end of the week, he said, "Dad, you were right. I loved it, and I want to go back." That alone made the entire week worth it. It was also amazing to hear about everything he got to do each day, especially all the time in the pool and at the splash pad. In the end, we plan to sign him up for more weeks next summer, even if we don't need the "daycare" option that we needed this year. Thank you!

This was my child’s first year as a rising first grader. He had so much fun and it was great to see him so tired, dirty, and happy from playing outside all day.
Well organized. Staff are attentive to child’s needs. Program is well organized. My child very much enjoyed it.
My kids looked forward to Ycamp daily. They came home with crafts, experiences and stories about new friends they had made. It made their summer.
My child has a great time at dinner camp. She enjoyed the activities and all the opportunities to swim and play in the splash pad. She loved the playground and the camp songs and made lots of friends.
Every day was a great day for my child!
Our kids get to have organized activities with kids their own age throughout the summer. They get to meet kids within the area not at their school.
We absolutely love this program for our teen boys, they keep them busy! Janelle and team have been amazing!

Please put up a remembrance for Joe Barile, maybe even a picture on the wall. He’s been a staple at the ymca for years and recently passed away. He was a great guy. Enjoyed and will miss talking to him in the steam room
