I love the Central Branch YMCA! It is conveniently located and I love the group classes that I attend. It never seems extremely crowded and I appreciate that.

I visited on Wednesday for a Core class at 5:45pm. The front desk people, Rhonda and another female, were very helpful. They listened to my problem and helped me. However, there was a lady leaving for the day from the office in the main hallway area by the front desk. The lady at the desk told her my problem, and she assured me that I could fit in the room for the exercise class. She then said, "it's either that or nothing." I was taken back by her response as it was rude and not needed. If I was not a long time member of the YMCA, I would not return because of the way she treated me. I felt as if she dismissed me.
Again, the other lady was very helpful. She walked me to the class and made sure I had a space to join the class.
The experience at the central YMCA, the exercise equipment room was very open and the multiple weight rooms were appreciated. Overall had a great experience at this branch of the Y will be visiting soon
