Member Testimonials
The facility is clean and all kinds of people are there, young -old, fit- not fit.
1. I like the fact that the Y is at its core a faith-based organization, based in Christian principles;
2. I like the fact that the Y affords opportunity for non-members to take fitness/life-skill related courses;
3. I like the fact that the Y provides for hardship-case attendance "scholarships" to same (above), which is something I took advantage of in learning Judo from 1Phone number removed;
4. I like the fact that the Y affords me an opportunity to share my life-skills as a martial-arts instructor so that others may benefit as I did in developing skills that may in fact assist them in escape from poor life situations to grow into responsible adult citizens;
5. I like the fact that the Y provides life-preserving skill-based classes in many areas:
-CPR;
-Swimming;
-Martial arts;
-Fitness acquisition/preservation;
-Etc.

Staff is always friendly and great with the kids.
Great environment!
Great people!
Every thing is convenient for those of us who are disabled. The staff are very polite and respectful.
Family like atmosphere! Don't feel like I'm being judged while working out there! Plus we love that there are so many areas to work out in, if it's operating hours.
It's just a nice place to be, no problems, no hassles. Everyone is nice.

The convenience of location
I walked into the facility one day and Ron gave me a tour. He did a great job and is a nice guy. I joined that day. I did an orientation with Robyn. She did a great job showing me how the equipment works, etc. She is a very nice gal. Currently I am doing Wellness for Life with Steve Gregg. Steve has helped me to set goals and increase the amount of time I spend at the Y and the number of machines that I am using. He has also helped me with some life goals. He is also a nice guy. Everyone has been nice and very helpful. I'm glad that I joined!

The facility is very clean and not overly crowded. I see a lot of familiar faces.
The pool is always in great condition. I'm missing the swimsuit dryer that spins out the water though. Hopefully it will be fixed and installed again. I am curious why the dressing room is so frigid. Love my Wells County YMCA.
The enhancement exercise program for seniors is excellent. Sharon at the Caylor Nickel Y is an awesome instructor!
