I like that it’s a smaller facility and everyone knows each other.
I had both knees replaced this past year. It has been a blessing to ride bikes for a half hour 3 days a week along with using the machines to strengthen them. We also finish by walking laps in the gym!

The people are all so nice and helpful, love the balance class that’s Monday, Wednesday and Friday, at 8 am do wish that the class was at 8:30, but do love this class

I like the classes geared for older adults with arthritis but still give me a good workout

Friendly staff, nice pool, hot tub & sauna. Good , fun classes for seniors with enthusiastic instructors. Informative Lunch and Learn programs. Extra bonus; coffee and nice area to visit with fellow Y members. It makes my day to go to the Caylor-Nickel Y !
We love it. Feel suggestions:
1 - Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes for beginners. Focused on adults. There are many BJJ academies in Fort Wayne so it is possible to get a qualified instructor ‘locally’.
2 - Parents’ Night Out like some other YMCAs do nationwide.
Convenience &!most of all the comradery
I'm in Silver Sneakers and we have a wonderful instructor who makes everyone feel welcomed. We work hard but we have a fun time also. We're getting healthier while having fun.
The workouts whether it's dumbells or machines. I love the hot tub after a workout to relax my muscles.
It's a very nice facility. Even though I live 20 miles away I still make the drive
