John ( from New York ) deserves a call out for the great job on our delivery yesterday. Great personality and outgoing driver. We were out of fuel in the tank so we were excited to see the delivery truck. We asked him about moving to NC , but he replied he loved is NY home. 👍👍 Jim & Pat Combest ; Fairview , NC
After Helene hit, we were beginning to run low on propane from use of our generator for a sustained period. We contacted Freeman for a potential refill and discovered that the local office/depot had been destroyed on Hwy 25 in Hendersonville. Apparently only two trucks were able to run. There was no definitive time that Freeman could get to us.
Several days later, a Freeman truck showed up in our neighborhood to service multiple customers. (The driver was from Long Island, NY). Despite running out of propane, he promised that he would be back that evening (a Sunday) to fill the rest of our tanks. Later that evening, he returned to fill up the remaining Freeman customers in the neighborhood. (It was almost dark.)
I apologize that I don't know his name, but he exemplified what great customer service is like. I hope that you can find out his name, and reward him accordingly! His actions locked us in to remain Freeman customers.
