I like exercising at the gym and swimming. The pool is great. However, the most important aspect of the Y is the people. The staff is professional and friendly.

Our child loved learning the songs, going in the pool, and all the games. We liked knowing what they'd be doing, seeing all the enthusiastic counselors at drop off and pickup and how organized pickup was.

I love the Taylor Y--it is my gym "home" of 15+ years, and it offers sich a variety of benefits, like an outdoor run group from Y parking through Bond Park trails, group fitness classes of all types like pilates with Romain (most challenging mat pilates!), toning, Boot Camp, barre and cycling. Not only staff, but members seem thoughtful, wiping down and sharing weight equipment, and they have just updated with more functional fitness equipment, heavier weights. Love the pool for shared lane adult swim, kids summer swim and year-round swim--well managed. The admin also work hard to meet members' needs and front desk staff try to know and greet you by name and appear to love their job and us members. Thank you, Taylor Y!!!
For me as a mom it is my first time with the experience of taking a summer camp and the truth is my son is happy to get up very early to go and not miss a second of his camp and when I pick him up he is very happy. thank you

As a working parent, the hours are better than a lot of camps around here. I’m very thankful for the 6 pm end time. My kids also do so much there during the day that bedtime is way easier. They seem to be happy and making friends and bonding with the counselors too. So far so good!
The counselors work very well with the kids, and they take allergy issues very seriously keeping things safe for kids.
