Convenient and well maintained
Great facility, great friendly staff.
That being said, you (and all gyms) are suffering from iPhone disease. There is nothing worse in this world for someone who wants a quick workout than to have young folks sitting on a weight machine for minutes at a time, staring at phones. Do the right thing and ban phones from the exercise area.
Or have your staff educate them as to the nearest library on Rock Quarry. I’m not interested in being the cranky oldster asking them to move there butts, nor should I be.

I love the overall vibe of this Y. They have so many self improvement programs on how to live and be healthier.
My kids love going to the YMCA aftercare at Hunter. Diamond is awesome and we feel so good about sending our kids there after school.
The instructors are very helpful very kind very friendly.

The Southeast Raleigh YMCA has amazing staff members and outstanding counselors , they are truly dedicated to enriching the lives of the kids they interact with on a daily basis. They are very supportive in encouraging the kids to be the best version of themselves.

My son loves it he has been attending the after school program for about 3 years. The counselors are great.
I like knowing my child is in good hands while I’m at work. The communication with the counselors and the relationships my daughter builds with them as well.
Diamond is awesome!!!! She is a treasure who is great with kids and parents.
The staff are amazing especially diamond. She always greets with such a warm welcome and she is so sweet. I feel like my son is in good hands and they communicate everything to me. Definitely would recommend.
The counselors are awesome and thoughtful. The kids have so much fun! My kiddo loves to go to the Y!
