The guides are very helpful I didn't know how to use a piece of equipment and he was very helpful.
My primary membership is with the Poole Family Y in Garner, but I like to swim at other Y's, because the Garner Y doesn't provide many lap lanes.
The YMCA is close to my home and I can attend other locations in the area.
convenient and friendly staff. I do believe they should have towel drops in the ladies shower room instead of us having to take it to the hallway, because I did that just today and was wrapped IN MY BEACH TOWEL AND WHEN I TOOK OUT YOUR TOWELS THERE WERE MEN IN THE HALLWAY, WE SHOULD HAVE THEM RIGHT INSIDE OF THE ladies shower area.

Southeast Raleigh Y feels like a true community space. Whether I'm sitting by the pool watching my kids splash around or trying to figure out a new piece of workout equipment, there are friendly faces who want to connect.
We love the YMCA so much. We love every branch in our area but are particularly fond of our home Y at Southeast Raleigh.

When we are at our Y, we feel at home. Please keep treating your staff well. Them recognizing us is so meaningful.
Professional staff keeps the space clean and available for people who really want to workout. It feels like the best Y for someone who lifts weights. I also like that there is diversity in the members (much unlike Finley). Class offerings have improved but would be good if there was a way to offer feedback on instructors. My bf really wanted to do Tai Chi but just did not like the instructor.
I love the outdoor pool. That's the main thing for me. I also love how friendly the place is, and that there is plenty space for the water aerobics class.
Here are two things that I think need improving:
1. people should not be allowed to have food at the pool. The ants that are drawn to the crumbs and sticky stuff really have a mean bite, and the sticky stuff is no fun when it gets on the lounge chairs.
2. I would like to pay for the entire year, but somehow you can't do it either in person or online. How, then? I don't understand. Paying for the whole amount is cheaper.

The staff are helpful and responsive when I've needed help. The change rooms are clean. The pool is pretty clean. The outdoor pool area is clean. My membership has felt worth it so far. I like that the staff run a tight ship and keep everything in order.
Awesome facility
The staff was really patient and thorough and friendly. And staff really love and care for the space - I observed this watching a staff member care for equiptment. I love that the space is a community gathering space for families and a very diverse group of people. The facility has all the modern workout gear and studio space and is very upscale.
