The operating hours are helpful with my line of work and the childcare has been great! My kids love coming to the ‘gym’!
We really enjoyed the pool this year as well

I love the NW Cary facility, and they’re great staff. My only complaint is allowing personal trainers to reserve equipment as it makes me feel that the Y considers non-personal trainer members to be second rate. We’re all waiting to get on the equipment we want!

I love going to this Y. Suggestions:

!) Add an extra Smith Machine since this machine is so sought after. People actually have to hover and wait around until the person is done which puts a rush on the one using the machine.

2) Add a Hip thruster machine. These days women especially are really working hard to increase their glute muscles. This also might lessen the line at the Leg Press machine. That is constantly being used to the point that I find it pointless to add it to my workout because it's rarely available.

I love how friendly everyone is and that you add volunteer opportunities for your members which gets the community together in efforts for good. It's also wonderful that there is a church right next door. Thank you for all that you do!

Staffs are very friendly and are eager to help. Members are also friendly and treating others with respect. Environment is clean and comfortable.
Popular programs are getting crowed. And the location is not as close to the other Cary YMCA to me (personal reason).

The front desk professional (Marcia?) Was just nothing short of a YMCA rock star. She was super helpful and got us all squared away with our rejoining, info update, etc.. Love the facility and looks like so much to do!

Staff is very kind and friendly. I love the outdoor pool open year round! That's mainly what I use this YMCA branch for and I am grateful this has continued to be available.

What do you like about your Northwest Cary YMCA - Membership experience?

We love having the outdoor pool open year round. It's a shame that we heat other YMCA outdoor pools all winter but only allow the YOTA swim team to use them. This includes Meadowmont and Hope Valley Farms. If you are paying for the heat, why not let everyone enjoy the sunshine?
