I think the monthly $157 pricing is too high for families to join, especially with limited use. There should be a reduced plan that is $80 and you can use facility 8-10 times in month. The staff have been exceptional… almost worth the annual $2000 price tag .

The YMCA is a wonderful place that’s always clean, welcoming, and well cared for. Everything feels fresh and organized, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy your time there. Swimming outside at the YMCA is especially nice, with clean water and a calm, refreshing atmosphere. Overall, it’s a great environment that makes every visit enjoyable.

Chatham Park Y is a great facility with lots of great classes and a welcoming staff.
The new Chatham Y is an excellent, very large facility, with an excellent workout gym, basketball courts, multiple pools, and what looks to be a small soccer field. I'm retired and just use a treadmill and 10 or 11 weight machines, typically, and a few lighter free weights. Very nice staff, too. Plenty of parking so far. I'm very glad that my supplemental Medicare insurance pays for a gym benefit, which the Y accepts. Not all gyms do.
The staff is very friendly and the exercise area is clean and well maintained.
