Large, clean facility. Good quality equipment. I love that I see all ages. It is a community facility. Longer hours is helpful too. (Though it’s getting crowded)

Actually, We are at a point of disappointment with the YMCA pool experience. In the last 2 months we’ve had “Brownouts” which means we either can’t get in the rec pool or we have to get out in the middle of exercising. And last week there were two days when the pool was too cold to swim in due to some kind of heater problem, and yesterday when we were in everybody started noticing that cold water Was pouring out the heater again and we had to get out early. There’s a group of older citizens that exercise over couple hours during the midday, the warmer water for their joints. If there was another option in Gig Harbor, we probably take it.

It is a great place to exercise. The classes are outstanding. It is a great place to meet new friends!!
This facility has everything you could possibly imagine!
It's pretty crowded most of the time, as membership has grown. I hear many people say they would like the hours extended to at least 10, or 11pm in the evenings, longer hours on the week ends.
The first floor set up is much better.
An additional stretching rack would be great as it is always busy.

The camaraderie, diversity , variety of opportunity- there is something for everyone! Many, many caring people working there and caring, happy folks attending classes and involved in healthy activities. …The Y is clean and well maintained. It brings out the best in all of us!

Friendly, clean and convenient for water aerobics
Facility is always improving, equipment is always in top-notch shape and working well. Clranliness is impeccable - I have never seen another athletic facilty so immaculate. People are friendly, love the therapy dogs and the inspiration board. My day always goes better when I start it at the Y.

The staff is excellent! They’re all very kind and supportive of my child. He’s safe and having a very fun time.
Flexible extra care hours, variety of activities, pool time.
This year as opposed to last year they have integrated camptivity choices each week. My kids have had a great time participating in activities they choose each week. Great idea!

Like about = I have been taking adult swim classes for a while w/Sandi and Bev. Sandi is fantastic. She is the greatest swimming instructor.
