Great Place to workout. Clean, friendly, and for the most part equipment in working condition.
Love the water exercise classes. Love the instructors ( especially Marty). Dislike the refusal by the life guard staff to turn the music off during her class ( she has asked them and often they just turn it down which doesn’t help much). So many of us hearing disabled can’t hear her instructions over the music. I am sure that is an issue for the disability act (law). Perhaps a policy would help your staff.

We love Tom Taylor and primarily use it to access the pool. The accessibility /access to the pool is wonderful. The family bathrooms are also key. The lifeguards are kind and helpful.
I appreciate staff help, support, and collegiality.

Julie helped me register my daughter and granddaughter and the experience was actually fun. I arrived and saw people who appeared to be waiting to register seated in chairs and asked at the counter about adding my family, and the woman pointed to Julie and said she'd be a great resource for my questions. She was and between the two of them, checking people in and giving me a copy of the schedule, the time spent was a joy. Thank you, Julie and thank you, YMCA!
I really enjoy the variety of class offerings.
I like the classes and the availability of individual machines for workouts.

It is a place I enjoy once I walk in the door! I am usually there by 7:15 a.m. and always welcomed
by front desk staff! I attend Dani’s classes three times a week…she’s a fantastic teacher and not only is the exercise class rewarding I have forged wonderful friendships in her class! The Y is a healthy environment physically, mentally and
socially! I am very grateful to have this facility in Gig Harbor!
I enjoy visiting the Tom Taylor YMCA pool. The lifeguards are great. I feel very safe in the pool. And the pool and pool area are kept very clean. Locker rooms are also kept very clean. My only concern is that the Y is so popular that it can be crowded at times! But that isn't their fault.

The directors are always coming in and turning the music down in the main gym during class. It's very unprofessional and disruptive to the class. This happened today 1/1/25 in the main gym at the 9:30 am class. It's annoying. The music is what motivates me. It was not loud.
Jim the Clean up guy does his job with gusto and pride and myself and other members really appreciate it
The little things - the locker room is clean - water fountains are clean and the same thing goes with his female counterpart. She is exceptional I apologize I don’t have her name.
You have also fixed the men’s steam room which now is just a joy we can use it and I’m grateful for that. The new/old maintenance manager is back and that is a wonderful thing.
The folks are friendly at the front desk and staff walking throughout the Y it’s just a really great place to be the only drawback you need to expand but thank you for making it a fun and better place

I want to let you know that Vanessa is such a hard worker. I appreciate so much how she cleans the women’s locker room. She is so kind and loving.

It's everything I could need or want. Alot of opportunities to try new things. The steam room and sauna are a deal breaker.
I enjoy all the activities that are available. There are a tremendous amount of equipment available. The personnel are friendly and courteous. The personal trainers are great. Highly recommend this facility.

Volunteers are all friendly and helpful, great new equipment and all classes are excellent and varied. Love that you have art classes for adults as well as physical activities classes.
Best way to make friends if you are new to the area. Even if you are shy, you will make new friends over time.
Fabulous facility; SO happy to have access to racquetball courts! Wonderful staff; clean, user-friendly equipment - couldn't ask for more!
