I like that people go to the Y to work out not to make TikTok videos. Most of the time the equipment is in good working order but lately there’s been some issues that have been bothering me. I hope that they get resolved. Most of the time the gym is reasonably clean although I will tell you I don’t like that the bathrooms always smell. I’m sure we could do better if we tried.
I like the personal trainers they’re very involved in our health journeys.

I like the vibe there much better than the other gyms I've been to. The pool is great, but the limited hours I'm still getting used to.

I love the Olympic sized pool. Everyone is always very friendly, from the lifeguards to the people at the front desk. I also appreciate the notifications on the app about class changes and closings. Overall, I really enjoy the facilities and always get a great workout!

Lots of options to exercise. I love the outdoor lap pool. Employees are very friendly. They give you email notices when something is canceled.

My husband and I have been members since this location opened, on and off, for the past 20+ years. I love the community where I feel comfortable and get to interact with a diverse group of members.
Since my boys have been old enough, we have been members of the Mighty Mahi summer swim team and love the opportunity to spend our summers in the gorgeous pool while learning new skills and working on our fitness.
Southwest Valley's water fitness program is unmatched and offers so many different classes at a variety of times of day. In the summer, I love the morning classes while my boys are also in the pool, and I have so much fun in the evening with Aqua Zumba. When we all go back to school in the fall (I'm a high school teacher), I count on the evening class to relax and stay connected with my water fitness community.
My sister and her family are moving to this side of town soon, and I am encouraging my niece, who is already involved on a swim team in Scottsdale, to check out our Phx Swim Club team.
My husband's grandfather and his wife (whom he met at our Y!) are also members and enjoy the Silver Sneakers programs. Grandpa turned 96 this year, and I am convinced that his ability to connect with community and stay active is an important part of his longevity.
I really feel our Y offers something for everyone, and I love being a member!
