The fitness room is clean, well-equipped and well-maintained.
The staff is friendly.
Drawbacks: Expensive, programs are geared toward retirees and children.
Needs: Rebounder for medicine ball, longer hours on weekends (at least until 6pm PLEASE), more variety of classes, classes offered when working people can attend.

The Scottsdale Y is an overall great experience! Lots of good classes and the trainers/staff are awesome (especially Jack - the verified oldest working trainer in the world!). And love the family & community atmosphere and also the wide variety of equipment and ways to get a good workout.

I appreciate the friendliness of the people at the front desk when we arrive at 5:30 on weekday mornings. The fitness room has been clean and well organized. Great way for us to start the day.

I love the Balance classes for seniors.
Facilities are very nice. Staff is very nice. Location to where we stay in Scottsdale is very close. Lots of ways to do lots of work out. Only tough thing is that the pool is not open till April and by then we’ll be back in Michigan! All in all very great spot.

Love the fact that the Y is open to all ages, races and capabilities. Love the yoga classes led by Jan Hudson and Angela.
I can go any time of day and find a treadmill, bike or elliptical. There are many machines that target arms and legs for strength training. I like the people who work there and also the people who work out there. Lots of different types of people from young families and children to elderly. Everyone respects each other.
It has been a wonderful experience for me and my family over the years from my boys working there in high school to player yearly basketball.

It is a great neighborhood gathering for our children. I enjoy the way the refs lead the game and the kids echo the sportsmanship goals.
We were so very happy with this season! We LOVED our coach, Sam Fowler and Matt (forgot his last name). Cameron plays in the rec league and the competitive league. The patience, kindness, and encouragement given to our son really helped him to enjoy the game even more. Thanks for giving him a place to have fun, learn, and be active!
