The Christown Y keeps improving! It has always been a welcoming place where one feels comfortable working out. More recently, it has improved its offering of classes, for example Tai Chi and Pilates, while continuing to offer classes for all ages and levels of fitness, from Silver Sneakers to Group Power. The instructors are highly trained, knowledgeable, and always encouraging. It's a great place!

The staff is friendly and helpful. I like the camaraderie among the other people who work out when I do. I do miss Mike, the trainer, who made it fun to work out and adjust workout plans.
Just the commitment I have made to show up and participate in the activities is a positive. Great staff and productive classes.

The consistency and reliability of senior class offerings, the friendly staff and sense of community, the racial diversity seen in all aspects of the center. It’s an open, welcoming place to spend time while gaining some degree of fitness.
Regular exercise has helped me to have better balance and strength. I feel better now than I did a decade ago. I will be 69 yo on Friday :)

It is a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Staff members are available to help with any questions or concerns you might have. Different classes are being added to accommodate a member’s preferences and time availability.

I really like being around when the 'littles' are there and discovering all the fun stuff to do; their cheerful laughing, yelling and running around are so energizing!
