Friendly staff, excellent trainers, readily available schedules, select hours to address different populations, etc.
Number One:The outdoor swimming pool and lap lanes.
Number Two: Yoga flow classes, especially flow and movement opposed to yin (holding poses/stretching)

Valley of Sun YMCA is a friendly place with great front desk staff. It is a truly welcoming environment for children and seniors, while having activities for the whole family.
It’s not overcrowded
I like the feeling of family atmosphere. It doesn’t feel like a meat market where people are looking to hook up. Children and seniors are welcomed at the Chris town Y.
The staff is friendly and welcoming. Trainers are very professional, knowledgeable and caring with their clients.

My husband and I attend The Silver Sneakers program regularly and we are in better health and physical shape than we were in our fifties. My husband is 70 years old and I will also be 70 in March. March on and age well!
I think this Ymca has an incredible program going. All the staff are amazing and everything that it has to offer is spectacular for my kids. Best decision ever when it comes to childcare for my babies. I’d like to thank everyone all the staff and individuals involved in providing such fantastic services for us parents regarding our mini’s

I really like the Cristown branch, Trainers Kelly Mac, Leo, and Nancy have built relationships with the senior patrons that build community. They are friendly and caring. The Y gives many of us (senior citizens) a place to get our much needed social interactions and our exercise. The three of them are knowledgeable about what makes us go and what we need. As a recently retired teacher, I am glad to have a place to go where I feel welcome and cared for.
