I love the Y. I'm 77 years old and work out at least five days a week. The Y is my favorite place.
The people at the front desk always welcome me and say goodbye. i feel like family. Plus i love seeing all the little kids. All four of my grandsons learned basketball at the Y and played basketball in high school. Three of them are in their 20's and now my youngest grandson (18) comes with me four times a week to work out. A treat! Soo lucky to have such a great welcoming place to go. Kudos to the YMCA.
Love the classes and friendly atmosphere. The instructors are knowledgeable and enthusiastic. They make workouts fun.
Many opportunities to improve my health, from individual and group exercise to social connections through OPAS' luncheons, domino games, ride requests, friendly visits, and opportunities to assist elderly adults who may not have access to assist them with small but technical tasks.
