They do activities with the children and keep the children engaged in different activites throughout the year. Also, that they help with homework. And that they stay open late enough for me to get there if I run into any traffic. The YMCA keeps me informed of what my child is doing on daily activites. The YMCA keeps my child safe and secure.
I like the YMCA staff at Irvin Elementary. They are so kind and give feedback on my child’s behavior even though he is only there a short amount of time but I find it helpful and my child always has a blast after school.

A few years ago, my daughter attended the YMCA after-school care program and unfortunately we had a very negative experience due to a lack of supervision and ongoing issues with another child who should have been removed from the program. Because of that, we were hesitant to return.
After recently hearing such great feedback about new staff, improved supervision, and more engaging activities, we decided to give it another try—and we are so glad we did. The difference has been night and day.
The program is now feels like it’s supervised, offers consistent homework help, and provides fun, structured activities that my daughter genuinely enjoys. Most importantly, the staff has been incredibly sweet, attentive, and kind. We have been extremely happy with our experience so far and truly appreciate the positive changes that have been made.

My son is safe and happy. They have activities to keep him occupied but he's not restricted. He loves going to YMCA after care and the holiday camps.

The people that work at Harlow elementary YMCA are probably one of the best employees and afterschool programs I’ve ever experienced. They do an amazing job.

My boys are enjoying the Fridays at YMCA.
The only issue I have is the app and communication.
I've tried to go online "unenroll" on a Friday when they aren't there and then have to go back in and sign back up.......it's just not as streamlined. How can we make this easier. I've known for several months and have communicated that the boys won't be there 12/12, and don't really want to be charged for the day when I've been multiple attempts to communicate they aren't going to be there.
It's a great place for my son He has enjoyed every aspect of it. Mr. Miles is wonderful with the kiddos every time I pick my son from the YMCA the kiddos are always happy.

I like the fact that my child has a safe place to go after school. I don't have to rush through traffic to get her because of the 6:30 pick up time. it allows me time to get her. My budget is tight but my payments are affordable. I would recommend this program to anyone

YMCA, is very organized. They pay attention to all the students. I like the fact that, they keep students busy with different activities everyday rather than playing around the whole time.
