I love the convenience of the program being at the school. The staff are amazing. To the point where my kids get upset if I pick them up early! I never have to worry about whether or not my kids are having a good time and being well taken care of. Even with a child with food allergies, they always make sure that my son has something he can snack on.

My boys love their YMCA Afterschool program and are often upset when I pick them up because they're having so much fun! I have appreciated Mr. Rod, who's been in charge of their site for the past six or so years now, so much, because he worked with us through my older son's behavioral issues (due largely to ADHD) to help him get to a place where he could thrive in the program.
It has been a wonderful experience, my daughters are happy with the activities they do after school.

This will be my son's 4th year at Farine. I am only familiar with Mr. E and Ms. B. I normally call ahead to let them know I'm close by but I haven't been able to get through. No big deal. But if no one answers then we(parents) are just standing at the door waiting for someone to walk by. I completely understand its the beginning of the year and maybe the ladies have to figure out a system. It does seem a little chaotic when they answer the door and then yell the kids name out to come. With having a son, I know how important it is to have a male role model. I do think a balance of a male figure may be needed.
